Moving to WordPress and Facebook

I’ve decided to close down my dedicated server, and move the Ex-Sony Munich site. The blog part will now be hosted here on WordPress.com, while the community activities will from now on be done through Facebook.

Here is a link to the Ex-Sony group on Facebook. Note that you will need to sign up on Facebook to access it. It’s a closed group, so it’s only visible if you’re a member. Membership needs to be approved by me or Sabine.

Moving to a new server

I’ve just ordered a new server to host the site. The forums are likely to be unavailable for a while, during the transfer of data from the current server to the new one.

New registrations disabled

New forum account registrations have been disabled until the forum software has been updated.

If you want to register in the meantime, please send an email to the address on the impressum page and I will create the account manually.

Forgotten your login details?

If you’ve forgotten your login details for the forum, you can reset your password by going to this page and entering your name in the account username box.

Note that the password will be sent to the email address that you used when originally registering.

The forum is back online. It’s still the same old version – this will be updated later.

Domain has been transferred

The domain name exsonymunich.de has been successfully transferred to the new server.

It might take a couple of days to get the forum back up and running.
